I'm definitely thrilled to get the opportunity to put this stuff in front of a mainstream audience. Early readers will remember that this blog and my writing on virtual law was supposed to basically be a hobby to keep me involved in legal stuff for a bit while I worked on a historical novel involving a modern-day maritime historian, Panama, and 16th century pirates (which, for those keeping score at home, I actually <i>am</i> still working on). I thought that stepping back from practice last year would be a bit of a break from the law, but I've been working harder than ever! Not that I'm complaining -- it's been an incredible ride so far, and this hardly feels like work to me. I think I'll go buy a few papers. :) Thanks, Kit.
