Hi JimmyJet - thanks for the link to the Flikr set and the good wishes on the ABA efforts. The pics are neat to have - I've actually just been thinking about adding a Flikr sidebar thing for virtual law stuff, since it is starting to accumulate.

Interesting to see the ABA involvement. An acquaintance of mine active with the organization gave me a heads-up on this.

Still have a photoset posted I took of your 06/12/2007 presentation on Edelman Island before Second Life Business Communicators, which may be viewed at http://flickr.com/photos/seesaw8/sets/72157600794744948/

Good luck with the ABA effort.

The description linked lays it out pretty accurately, but one of the main tasks of all ABA committees is getting articles re: their subject (here, virtual worlds and MMO games) lined up for ABA publications, and getting speakers and panels lined up for ABA meetings. So what we'll discuss will end up depending largely on what the members are interested in and want to discuss -- and, of course, what cases are filed and decided, and what legislation is passed. Since it is such a new area, it is hard to predict exactly where it will go, which is, at least for me, one of the things that makes it so interesting.
